Personal callback scheduling
A requested callback, at a confirmed time.
Shawn Callback Booking is being prepared to help Shawn arrange callbacks requested during inbound phone conversations. It is intended for one calendar owner, not a public scheduling marketplace.
What the service is intended to do
- Receive a signed post-call result from Bland, containing the caller’s confirmed name, callback number, brief memo, and explicit preferred date, time and time zone.
- Check availability across four calendars selected by Shawn and, when the request meets the rules, create one private callback appointment in the Personal calendar.
- Send a small booking-status result to Shawn’s Grok assistant, Rob. That result would contain an outcome, reference and appointment time, without the caller’s name, phone number, memo or transcript.
The service will not choose an unrelated replacement time. Missing or ambiguous details, unavailable calendars, conflicts or an unresolved booking result stop new booking work.
The planned scheduling rules
Callbacks last 30 minutes, Monday through Friday, between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. in America/New_York. Requests need at least two hours’ notice and must be no more than 30 days ahead. A 15-minute separation is required from other appointments.
The relay creates no attendees, invitations or conference links. It has no feature for editing or deleting calendar events, and it does not place outgoing calls. A calendar entry is not proof that a callback has occurred.
Why Google Calendar access is requested
Only the calendar owner would authorize Google access. Callers would not connect their Google accounts. Availability access is intended to prevent conflicts; access to owned-calendar events is needed to create an appointment and check the same event after an interrupted response.
Google’s owned-event permission also technically allows editing and deleting owned-calendar events. The relay’s implemented operations are limited to availability checks, reading its identified event, and creating a new event in the configured Personal calendar.
